Bill &  Dr  Clay Anderson of  Ellis Fischel Cancer Center

Bill is now in another dimension of peaceful love that has enveloped him with unimaginable joy!

I miss him terribly but wake each morning to watch the sunrise and thank him for the wonderful and loving life we shared for almost 34 years!

My dream has always been to live on an acreage and he made sure this dream and all my other dreams came true!

He used to say that he lived his life to make me happy! He is my hero! I am full of pride and joy that I was blessed to call him "Lover, Sweetcheeks and other intimacies!

He left this world on Halloween night

at home in my arms!

September 24 thru October 2, 2007

Our son, Jamie visited us from Denver, CO and built a new well house for us as well as mending fences, clearing fence lines, scooping poop, cooking and keeping us smiling! We can't wait for the next visit! We had a great time and miss him terribly!

Jamie on the back deck...quite a view!

Bill's sister, Jeannie (nickname "P"), and Kathy Jo (our daughter-in-law/cousin) came for a visit. They arrived on Thursday evening, August 23rd, with Kansas City ribs in cart! We were very happy to be able to put our arms around them, P & Kathy, and our lips around the ribs! Their visit was too short and they left on Sunday!

A typical day with the girls!

July 22, 2007

Sadly Bill's mother, Olive Petraglia, of Denver, CO passed away. We are very saddened by her passing and will keep all the love and laughter she shared in our hearts!

Pictures from left to right;

Olive and Jim back in the days! Jim was in the Air Force and stationed at Johnson Air Force Base in Japan.

Olive, with our son, Jamie, and his wife, Kathy, celebrating Thanksgiving 2006!

I don't know when this was taken but Olive looks like a "Hot Tamale"!

Bill and Johnny meeting for the first time! I think they like each other? It was funny because Star usually is all over me when I visit these two but she left Bill and Johnny alone to get acquainted! I thought she might run Bill over or knock him down but she gave him the space he needed to get his hands on Johnny! Amazing little creatures!

July 15, 2007

Okay...how about "Johnny Come Lately" for this little guys name? Do I get any votes or other ideas?

July 13, 2007

Well, our baby "BOY" finally arrived! Born this morning at 9:37 am! More later...have to go watch!

No name yet! Any suggestions?

Happy Fourth of July!

Jason and Mir and the kids, Lucas & Maya, are moving to the States from Spain soon. They celebrated the Fourth and Kim's birthday yesterday and sent these pictures! Can't wait for their arrival even though they will be near San Francisco...it will be nice to have them closer!

I think it is almost time for this one to "POP"!!!

Can't wait to see what we get!

Just as long as the foal is healthy...who cares!

June 13, 2007

Just received these pictures from Virginia. Virg and Martha visited us in early spring; late April or early May (can't remember)! We had a great time and here is Martha's Rugrat!

May 27, 2007

Well, gee...I haven't posted much this past month! Sorry...can't say I have been busy...just not stepping up and getting things in the house done. It has been so nice outside that we had to plant a garden!

Bill built me raised beds this year so that we wouldn't have to remove new baby rocks everyday from the garden! Ha! You know this part of MO sits on limestone ledges of rock! Yes, ROCK!

We are trying what is called "Square Foot Gardening"! Here are a couple of pictures of the competed beds. This first bed is only 3 feet by 3 feet and I planted 2 squares of acorn squash, a tomato plant, 4 Anaheim peppers, cilantro and green onions. It has been only a couple of weeks and seeds have all popped up except one species of peppers.

This second bed is only 3 foot by 6 foot. I have planted 2 squares of beans on each side of the tomato plant in this bed, a row of eggplant, 2 rows of peppers and the front row is basil! Have to have Pesto and Chile this year!

It has been only a couple of weeks and seeds have all popped up except one species of peppers in the big bed.

The small bed has really taken off!

Yummy tomatoes!

April 28, 2007

Dang weather! It rained last night so we had to call the Donkey Fun Show! The rain date was May 5th but because our judge is not available on that date we are looking at a June date for the show. We have to coordinate dates with the judge and the saddle club.

I had jumps packed in my car, trophies, etc. I was really bummed out all day because I was ready to rock-n-roll and it didn't happen! Donkey shit happens!

I forgot to post the picture of my sister, Tammy, and her son, Hudson, during there October weekend working for Clinton Anderson! They certainly look happy! My sister is the middle of the front row on her knee in the white sweater and her eyes closed! And Hudson is standing in the back row ... last one to the right in the gray t-shirt and navy and white cap! They had a blast and will be helping Clinton in the future!

March 23, 2007

Spring has sprung around the Ozarks and every one is anxious to do spring time grooming so they look their best for visitors!

R Star loves scratching her ass! That baby is due in May! We are hoping for red! She is bred to MGF Jock! We will keep you posted!

And of course the land is coming to life!

Boy, I guess it has been quite a while since I took any pictures around the place. It has been really warm and today...brrrrrrrr!

I weaned Sugar Plum and did some separating of donkeys. Trying to put girls that need a little extra together. This icy, cold winter was a little hard on them. So, some feed pellets are in order.

Take a look and see the newest pictures from the other side of the fence!
