Annie's Lil Anne

DOB: June 25, 2005

Height: 31"

Color: Light Gray-Dun (red highlights)

Sire: Primetime, Yorkleigh Farms, Brown 30"

Dam: NLC Annie 34"

Lil Anne is a sweet little girl and will make someone a wonderful "pet". She is very quiet and loves to just stand at your side and wait to be loved. She does like to rough house with the geldings and she holds her own. Of course, being the gentlemen that they are, Brumley and Lindo, play with Little Anne more gently. Little Anne gets along with all the donkeys, cats, guineas and the dog.

7_3_2007_rear.gif (109307 bytes)

Lil Anne has nice garters and buttons and very feminine head and balanced conformation!  Lil Anne would work great in a program for children with disabilities.  Lil Anne is pet quality because my wee girl is cross-eyed. Vet believes 80% chance she will not pass this on to her foals because of poor nutrition during invetro and nursing.

Price: $650.00

"R Little Sausalito" (Sassie)

DOB: April 25, 1999

Height: 31"

Color: Gray-Dun

Sire: Little August-Ass Conder's  30"; Gray Dun

Dam: Solerno R Little 31"; Gray Dun

Sassie is the first jenny we purchased. We originally bought Sassie to keep my mare, Miss P, company. Sassie has over 500 known ancestors and presented us with a beautiful little black jack with great conformation in May of 2004, "Winters Crossing Lindo Negro"! Sassie was bred twice to Braying Hill's Sunset Acres Radio Flyer (dark sorrel) for an early May foals! She produced black foals each time. One jack and one jennet!  In May of 2008 she produced another dark charcoal gray jack foal.

Sassie opens gates, paws like a dog and is pretty darn demanding about those hugs!

Price: $1000.00 open

Annie & Boo need a home!

"NLC Annie "

***CAN NOT BE BRED***

DOB: 1987

Height: 34"

Color: Gray-Dun

Sire: Untraced

Dam: Untraced

Annie has produced many great babies. It is now time for retirement and to be somebody's pal.  Her "best friend" Boo would like to go with her!

"Shonda Berry" (we call her Boo)

***CAN NOT BE BRED***

DOB: June 14, 1988

Height: 34 1/2"

Color: Fully Frosted Spot

Sire: Sebastian 32"

Dam: Robinette 34"

Boo was born in 1988  and gave birth to our first gray jack in June of 2004.  Boo is registered as a Fully Frosted Spot and is a great Mother. We look forward to a foal from her in 2007.

We don't know much about this wonderful Jenny.  She was registered in 1989 with the American Donkey Register!  Her sire is Sebastian, a white 32" and her dam is M & M Robinette - breeder Daniel and Bea Langfeld of the Danby Farm in Omaha, NE.

If anyone has any information on Shonda Berry, she changed hands several times without anyone updating her registration, we would appreciate hearing from you.  Her immature registered color was Light Gray-Dun and we bought her at the Macon sale in September of 2003. The listed owner on the sale papers was David Bazille of Deer Park, WI. Someone at the sale, from Iowa, told me they had owned her at one time but I have forgotten their names.

Boo will make a great driving donkey!
